The Great Resignation and the growth of MTS
We’ve all heard about the “great resignation” as a worldwide phenomenon.
Because of Covid, people all over the world are re-thinking what matters in life. They’ve enjoyed working from home, spending more time with their kids and less hours on public transport.
In the depths of lockdown, they weren’t hankering for more hours at work, they were wanting to hug and hang out with their family and friends.
The world has changed.
It’s had a big impact on Christians too. Godly and gifted Christians are thinking, “What really matters in the end?”
And what really matters is Jesus and his Gospel (Mark 8:35). Godly and gifted Christians are voluntarily sacrificing a lucrative career to share Jesus words (Mark 8:38) with the lost.
Praise God.
MTS registered apprentice numbers have risen by 28% between 2019 and 2022.
This truly is astonishing.
I certainly thought Covid might hinder Gospel Worker recruitment, but then again Ephesians 3:20 is very true.
“God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine”.
