MTS Celebration of Graduating Apprentices and Entrusters

The MTS National Apprentice Graduation and Commissioning was held at Village Church, Annandale, NSW on Thursday 5th March 2020.

It is always a great night of thanksgiving to God and celebration.

It is called a graduation because the apprentices are completing their 2 or 3 years of training in Christ like character, conviction and ministry competency.

It is also called a commissioning because we want the apprentice to pass on the baton of the gospel for the rest of their lives 2 Tim 2:2. We give each apprentice a “blue” athletes baton, to remind them to pass on the gospel of Jesus.

Apprentices are not the only people that get celebrated at the event.

We also make a presentation to those trainers, who have trained an apprentice that has gone on to train an apprentice themselves.

We call these people “Entrusters” using the language of 2 Timothy 2:2.

Entrusters receive a “gold” athletes baton.

It is our hope that every “blue” person will strive to be a “gold” person in the future, that every apprentice will seek to grow a gospel entrusting family tree.
