Orange Evangelical Church | Trainer: Chris Holding

Thanks for considering partnering with me as I partner with the saints at Orange Evangelical Church over the next 2 years, seeking to be God’s people, taking God’s message with God’s help to Orange and beyond.

I am a 29 year old, single man who lives by himself in Orange. I am one of 5 children (4 sisters: Gemma, Sophie Judy and Eliza) and am an Uncle to 5 awesome nieces and nephews. In my spare time I love playing and watching sport, in particular Ice Hockey, Rugby Union, Cricket, Rugby League (avid South Sydney Supporter) and most recently, training to run the Sydney Marathon.

For the past 8 years, I have worked as a primary school teacher both in Australia and abroad, and have spent the last 3 years working at Orange Anglican Grammar School. Working here has given me the opportunity to experience a wide range of school ministries such as Christian lunchtime groups and chaplaincy opportunities. It is these experiences, as well as leading at OEC Youth that have developed a desire in me to be equipped to lead support young people as they explore the gospel.

My prayer over the next 2 years, is that God will continue to grow and equip me, both in my own personal relationship with him and in my ability to reach and share his truth faithfully.

Prayer Points

• Give thanks for the opportunity to complete my apprenticeship within a supportive church community.
• Pray that I might be a faithful witness of Christ to my friends, family and others as I undertake my apprenticeship.
• Pray that God might continue to grow me in my strengths and identify my weaknesses so that I might best serve him.
• Pray that I might finish my current work well and that I might trust Gods provisions as I step into this new opportunity.
