Hi!

What can I say about me…

I’m a somewhat introverted 40 year old male with a dog called shadow.

I have been with Southern Cross Presbyterian Church since coming to Christ in 2005.

God has gifted me with a great desire to pursue and walk with people from all walks of life.

In my singleness I have unfettered freedom to pour myself into the lives of those God has given me opportunity. While more often than not this looks dark and hard and rough, it is oh so worthwhile and I say ‘All the more!’

For the last 18 years I have been a professional engineer but now its time for change.

My church family of 7 years is about to combine with our larger church family and that means substantial upheaval and change.

I also have not studied for over 18 years so Its a massive change on every level

This is the season God has called me to and I am excited to have increased time and capacity to care for, disciple and walk with more brothers and sisters in Christ and also those yet to call Jesus Lord and Saviour.

Regardless of what may come I trust my most merciful and faithful God in establishing the work of my hands in whatever He has for them to do.

I look forward to sharing this season with you.

Prayer Points

• Adjusting from 6min block timetables to the flexible nature of ministry
• Getting back into study after 18 years and the challenges which come from being a ‘mature’ age student
• Good connection with those leading me; my trainer, the staff team and my personal mentor
• An ever increasing love for Jesus that makes all other difficulties I will inevitably face pale in significance
• A deep love for my church family and humility in whatever roles I am called to
