Wollongong Baptist Church | Trainer: Mark Roberts

Hi There, I’m Sam and I’ve been part of Wollongong Baptist Church family for over 8 years.

I became a Christian through an evangelistic course at WBC about 8 years ago when I first moved to Wollongong to do my masters in professional Accounting at University of Wollongong.

In the last 8 years, I’ve been serving in various ministries at WBC and I’ve also had the privilege of leading different ministries such the Multiplication team.

Last year, Wollongong Baptist Church offered me the opportunity to serve God full time through an MTS apprenticeship and I’m hoping that God will guide me as to how I am to serve Him in the future, through this time of service and learning. I’m also hoping that God will shape my character and grow me in my love for Jesus and his people.

Prayer Points

• That through my apprenticeship God’s will be done, and I will grow in humility and submission to Him.
• That I serve Wollongong Baptist Church and its people faithfully and with love.
• That I will be equiped and prepared for my responsibilities as an MTS apprentice.
• That God may give me wisdom as how to best serve Him long term, whether it be in full-time ministry or in other ways.
