Greetings, I am Petra – I am a wife, full-time mother & I’ve brought my two young children along with me to serve Christ through an MTS-MTW apprenticeship.

Serving with children has been challenging but a blessing. So far, I have been learning how to serve God and demonstrate living in faithfulness during a busy period of life.

My prayer for this apprenticeship is to carve a path for other mothers to see ministry with children is possible. We are all called to serve Jesus at every stage of life and as Jesus said in Mathew “let the little children come.”

Thank God for his peace, rest and family.

Thank God for the opportunity to share Jesus to parents and little ones in our community through playgroup, Jive & Play. Pray God gives us opportunities to share the gospel. Pray mums will come along to the upcoming Christmas Women’s Dessert Night to hear more about Jesus.

Praise God for sustaining me through balancing family, study and ministry. Pray I continue to rely on him through everything.

Continue to pray for my children as they come along on this journey with me. Thank God for their excitement about Jesus as they start to ask questions about him. Pray for wisdom in answering and that they will receive God’s grace.
