St John’s Anglican Cathedral Parramatta | Trainer: Bruce Morrison

Hi, I’m Nicholas, and I’m excited to be setting apart the next 2 years for full-time ministry training through MTS! I’ll be trained at St John’s Anglican Cathedral, Parramatta, where I’ve attended with my family for over 20 years.

I came to know Jesus through faithful teaching from my parents, church, scripture, and youth group, which flourished into a personal faith and commitment to follow Christ during high school. Since that time, I have come to see the need for the gospel being shared to all people in all nations. For this reason, I have decided to invest in gospel ministry training through MTS to prepare me for a life of Christian service!

In my training I will be focusing on music ministry (contemporary and traditional), growth group leading, reading the bible 1-to-1, and SRE amongst other opportunities that arise for teaching and growing people in God’s word. I will also be completing training at Cornhill Sydney to better understand and communicate the bible through developing preaching and teaching skills.
