Hi! I’m Melanie, and I’m training with MTS as I prepare for a lifetime of serving Jesus and His church.

After several years working as a radiographer and sonographer, I stepped into ministry training because I’m deeply convinced that Jesus is worth giving my whole life to. I love helping people meet Jesus in the Scriptures, growing as a disciple-maker, and seeing God at work in everyday conversations and ordinary life.

In my current ministry, I’m involved in our church’s membership and missions teams—helping foster genuine community, welcoming people into church life, and encouraging those who are curious about Jesus to take their next steps. I also co-lead a women’s growth group, where I get to walk alongside women as they open the Bible together and grow in faith, love, and obedience to Jesus.

MTS is shaping me both theologically and practically as I learn how to read the Bible well, teach it clearly, love people patiently, and trust God faithfully in all seasons. It’s stretching, joyful, and deeply humbling—and I’m so grateful for the way God is growing me through it.

Prayer Points

• Trust in God’s provision: Pray that I would keep relying on God’s faithfulness rather than striving in my own strength as support raising continues.

• Fruitful ministry through the membership team: Pray that God would use our church’s membership ministry to build real community, help people feel welcomed and known, and encourage many to explore Jesus.

• Women’s growth group: Pray for depth, honesty, and gospel fruit as we open the Scriptures together and grow as disciples of Jesus.

• Growth in godliness and skill: Ask God to shape me more into the likeness of Jesus—especially in perseverance, love, humility, and prayerfulness—as I grow in ministry competence.

• Faithfulness in training: Pray for energy, wisdom, and joy as I balance study, ministry, and personal life during MTS.

• Partnerships: Pray that God would continue to raise up financial and prayer supporters to sustain this apprenticeship.
