Hi friends,

Thank you for supporting me as I begin the next two years as a ministry apprentice at Holy Trinity Doncaster.

After lots of thinking and praying with friends and family, I’ve decided to step away from my work in accounting and begin an MTS apprenticeship. It’s a two-year, hands-on apprenticeship in a local church where I’ll be trained, stretched, and shaped for gospel ministry. Alongside the apprenticeship I’ll also study part time at Ridley College.

God has used his Word and his people to change me over time. At university, an older Christian read the Bible with me, and I was shaped through Christian community and mission. Later, through faithful, Bible-shaped church life, God grew my love for his Word and my confidence that he works through ordinary means, week by week, as his people gather and are built up.

One of my greatest joys has been reading the Bible one-to-one and watching the “light switch” moments as people grow in assurance and love for Jesus. That joy, and a growing conviction about the local church, is a big part of why I’m pursuing church ministry.

As I begin, I’m not looking for supporters so much as partners. I’d be grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and financial partnership if you’re in a position to give. Your partnership helps make it possible for me to be trained and to give my full focus to this work.
