Redeemer Presbyterian Church Canning Vale | Trainer: Richard Bailey

Hi there,

My name is Ben and I’m so thankful to God for this opportunity to serve Him and others in my church and local community.

Over the last few years God has been drawing me closer to Him and building a desire to be more involved in the church and learn and serve God more. Resulting in God bringing about this opportunity for me to start a two year apprenticeship next year at Redeemer while doing theological studies on the side, where God by his grace and mercy will continue to grow my love for Him and others and help me become more servant hearted like Jesus. During this time, I will be praying for God’s guidance and wisdom as to whether or not he wants me to pursue full-time ministry after this apprenticeship or journey down some other path but still then use the gifts and knowledge He has and will give me to serve the church and Him whether it be in missions or serving in various ministries within the church .

Prayer Points

  • Pray for continual growth in seeking God more and more and living my life for Him
  • Pray for continual growth in wisdom and knowledge
  • Pray for Richard, Ray and others as they help teach and guide me along this way
  • Pray for continual support; prayer and financial
  • Pray that theological studies will go well and will help equip me to minister and evangelise to others
  • Prayer for wisdom and guidance about future plans as to which pathway God wants me to take
  • Pray for my relationship with Hellen, that God will continue to work in me to make me the man I should be so that I can properly love and support her and that God will continue to bless and strengthen our relationship
