Grace Christian Community | Trainer: Tim Grant

Hi friends, my name is Tamara. I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and am married to Dave, and am now almost halfway through a ministry apprenticeship at Grace Christian Community.

I have been attending Grace for 6 years, and before this I attended church with my parents all my life. God has graciously grown me in understanding my need for Jesus, and the life and joy he brings. In 2022, He particularly grew my conviction to share this good news with others so that they may know, love and obey Jesus too. 🙂

“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18b – 20

My apprenticeship will be focused particularly on Kids Church, but will also involve teaching the Bible and sharing the gospel in a range of contexts. I am excited to dedicate two years to doing ministry now, and to grow my knowledge and skills for ministry into the future – but I can’t do it without your support. Prayer Points

• Praise God for some great time with extended family who recently visitied from interstate, and for another refreshing weekend of camping.
• Pray that God will continue to grow and transform each person in our Connect Group to know, love and be more like Jesus this year.
• Pray that God will grow my love for Christ and my joy in him especially over Easter, and that He will help me to share that with others through my testimony on Good Friday and in one to one conversations as well.
• Pray for me and Jascie (the other MTS apprentice at Grace) as we each prepare a Bible talk on Colossians 3 for Girls Getaway in April.
• Pray for me and Dave as we consider what ministry will look like for me (and for us) long term.
