St Mark’s UNEchurch Armidale | Trainer: Matthew Sheridan

G’day, my name’s Michael and I’m doing MTS at St Mark’s UNEchurch in 2024 and 2025. I’m married to Joanna, have lived most of my life in Armidale, and love church.

As part of my traineeship, I look after and am involved in a variety of ministries around church, including:

• leading at youth group on Friday nights
• organising and helping out at Thursday morning creche
• co-leading two Bible studies – one for adults and one for teen boys
• and looking after the community side of the night church congregation – making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome and a part of our community.

• That God would make it clear where I’ll be next year
• That I’ll be able to finish well
• That God will use me for His glory no matter what I’m doing.
